• June 18: Flight to Lanseria, transfer to Pilanesberg Game Lodge, evening Big 5 game drive

Q: What is the Big Five game drive?
A: A guided safari in Pilanesberg National Park with a chance to see Africa’s Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino 🦁🐘🐃🐆🦏
Q: When does it happen?
A:
• June 18: Evening drive after check-in
• June 19: Early morning drive at peak animal activity time
Q: Is the safari overnight?
A: We sleep at the lodge. The game drives are 2–3 hr excursions, one in the evening and one in the morning.
Q: Is it safe?
A: Yes. Vehicles are open but secure, and guided by trained professionals.
Q: Who is handling security in Cape Town?
A: CSO – the same security team used by Cape Town shuls and recommended by the Zionist Federation.
Q: Will there be security throughout the trip?
A:
• Cape Town: Private security with us at all times
• Johannesburg: Inside the community, under community-based protection
• Safari Lodge: No additional security needed – it’s a secure, remote location
Q: Is it safe overall?
A: Yes, every location is being handled with proper safety protocols.
Q: How much does the trip cost?
A:
• Students in our program: $500 (heavily subsidized)
• Eligible students not yet in the program: $750 (~80% subsidized)
Q: Can I get a discount if I join the program?
A: Yes! Join the program and attend a certain number of events, and you’ll get $250 back.

Q: Are payment plans available?
A: Definitely. We can arrange 3 recurring payments—just let us know what works best.
Q: Is travel insurance required?
A: Yes. You MUST have your own private travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellations, baggage, and safari activities.
Q: Will the program provide insurance?
A: No. Each participant is personally responsible for their own coverage.
Q: When is the deadline to apply and submit payment?
A: All applications and payments must be in by Tuesday (5.13) next week. Spots are limited, so don’t wait till last minute!
