OLAMI Herzliya is an organization dedicated to extending Jewish learning opportunities to a broad spectrum of English Speaking Jewish students living or studying in Herzliya. Through timely classes, lively discussions, transformative trips and other programming, our goal is to inspire a life-long love affair with Jewish learning and living.
While there is no minimum or maximum age, the vast majority are college age
All English speaking Jewish students will feel right at home at OLAMI regardless of their home country.
For the Israelis among us, we have a partner organization of Nefesh Yehudi
Yup!
While we do occasionally run single-gender programing, almost everything is co-ed
Absolutely none necessary. All our programming is very beginner friendly and open to everyone.
The entire year! While there are consistently scheduled events multiple times a week while college is in session, our Shabbat meals happen every single week as well as other social events and programs

There is no set day or time. It can be 5 minutes after the previous Shabbat or late Thursday night. Just keep checking...
Each trip has its own criteria, but generally you would need to have signed up in the beginning of the semester and attended a certain amount of programs

Have a special occasion you'd like to celebrate? We'd love to help work that out if possible. Be in touch with us and lets work some magic
It definitely does! Give us enough advance notice and we'll block out a Shabbat just for you. You bring the friends and we'll do everything else to make it an incredible time!

You’ll be spending the time with like-minded students that are all there for the exact same purpose, to have a great time and grow as individuals.
As such, its remarkably easy to make new life-long friends and to quickly bond with the crowd even if you don’t know anyone in advance.
